His expertise is significantly broadened by his role as the owner of a property management company he founded, where he managed a diverse portfolio of multi-family and commercial properties. This hands-on experience provides him with an intrinsic understanding of asset value, operational costs, and property logistics, supported by technical proficiency in industry-standard software.

Prior to his real estate career, Dewey held a 15-year tenure at Amtrak as a Supervisor/Foreman in the Mechanical Department. He was responsible for facilitating the inspections and maintenance of commuter rail fleets—a role that required rigorous logistical planning and leadership. His corporate background also includes significant client relations experience as a Regional Account Manager for Command Security, where he managed over 40 accounts.

Dewey also spent nearly two decades in the music industry as a record producer , musician and executive.
